Extreme rainfall and its significance for municipal planning

This research project ran from January 2005 until June 2008. Previous studies suggested that the increased greenhouse effect can influences the occurrence of extreme weather. This research project questioned how future climate change will affect the risk for natural disasters caused by extreme rainfall.
